Wordpress is not the most favorite website/blog content management system. It is an open source application, but extremely easy to install, easy to configure, and even easy to customize.
Currently there are many people and organization use wordpress for their website or blog platform. The reason for using wordpress is not only for it is free but also because there are various wordpress plugins developed by wordpress community for use along with the wordpress installation.
